2. Class Summary
- Week 10 : Mr. Martin ask us to complete the Final Project Proposal. We need to provide information until 04 Reference for week 11 discussion.
- Week 11 : Mr. Martin ask us to download week 10 stop motion footage (phone & DSLR) into our hard drive for editing. Use Premiere Pro and After Effect as the editing software.
- Week 12 : Mr. Martin ask us to finish our final project shooting in the studio or in our house / apartment and show him the first cut for review. Final Project Submission : submit the final project by uploading the complete final project slides in Google Drive before 23:59pm, 4th August. The blog is also expected to be completed before 23:59pm, 4th August.

Mr. Martin asked us to share 3 favorite stop motion shorts.
Dimension of dialogue part 3 :
"Dimensions of Dialogue," a stop-motion short film by Jan Švankmajer, it divided into three parts that explore the complexities and breakdowns of human communication through surreal, symbolic imagery. The link I paste here is part 3, the reason I choose this video is because I was shock by fluency of the video and also this video is much meaningful.

This stop-motion animation dynamically illustrates the transforming force of change in a visually captivating and rhythmic way by using a lot of pins and thread to construct a lot of geometric shapes. I choose this video as my favorite stop motion shorts because I like the creativity of this video.

This video has used a lot of common household objects and transform them into guacamole components in a creative and inventive stop motion animation. I like the part how it transform the common household object into guacamole components and the meaning of the video conveys, it is very creative and interesting.
Proposal
First, we start from the proposal before we create the stop motions. Based on the instruction given by Mr. Martin, we can choose to either solo or group in this final project. Therefore, I choose to be group together with my friends, Shim Yi Xun.
The requirement of group on the duration of the stop motions is one minute. After discuss with Yi Xun, we decided to create a short animation and the medium we use will be paper.

Progress
First, we divide the animation into half and each of us took one part to draw by using Procreate.
After the draft of the animation has been approved by Mr. Martin, we proceed to refine the animation.
Once the animation is done, we organized the artwork in Adobe Illustrator to prepare for printing. We counted the printed papers and found that there were just over 300 sheets in total.
