- Use search engines (such as Google) and critical thinking to analyze the problem.

Fill in the Blank

- Create an empty folder as a structural framework.

- Gradually fill each folder to organize information.

- Ensure that all work files are synchronized to meet the needs of each software.

- Refer to existing works and build an inspiration library.

- Studying excellent cases will help form your own thinking path.

Set the Parameter

- Creativity is unlimited, but there must be a direction.

- Time is a limiting factor and needs to be used efficiently.

INSTRUCTIONS

Project 1

In this task, we need to develop an infographic to present visual effects. Based on the instruction given, we need to select 1 infographic poster from internet and redesign the poster. The poster need to be in A4 size. Once the poster is done, we need to make the infographic poster into a static looping animation page.

Fig 1.1 Original Poster

I found this poster from google and I decide to create poster by using the information that given by this poster. Before I start create the poster, I found the visual reference from Pinterest first. Based on the visual reference below, I decide to remake the poster in this color theme also.

First, I start with the sketches. After I consult with Mr. Shamsul, I decide to go with this sketches.

Based on the sketches, I have create the first version of the poster as shown as below.

However, after I consult with Mr. Shamsul, he asked me to change the color and add the CTA (Call to action) in this poster by using the QR code in the original poster.

I decide to us the original poster color pallet to make it more relatable to the topic. Hence, my poster has done.

Project 2

I proceed with the animation. Due to I create my poster in Procreate, I decide to continue using this app to create my animation.

Hence, my project 1 final outcome is done.

REFLECTIONS

This project taught me the importance of simplicity, clarity, and functionality in design. Initially, I struggled with cluttered layouts and overly complex visuals, but feedback helped me focus on key messages and use visual hierarchy effectively. I also learned to balance aesthetics with usability, like choosing readable fonts and accessible color schemes. Collaboration and iteration were crucial—each revision improved my work and taught me something new.

Despite challenges, such as tight deadlines and technical issues, I persevered and created a design I’m proud of. This experience deepened my understanding of information design and reinforced the value of feedback and adaptability. I’m excited to apply these lessons to future projects and continue growing as a designer.
