Week 9

Lectures : 

Mr. Fauzi brief us about Realism VS Surrealism and image manipulation using Digital Photography. Besides that, Mr. Fauzi also teach us how to create a loop animation for IG stories.

Research : 

I have make some research before I decide what to do.

Sketches : 

Based on the reference, I decide to use the object that have similarity on shape. I have figure out 4 different ideas based on the object I have.

Sketches 1 - Violin and Avocado

This sketches is about replace the body of violin by using avocado.

Sketches 2 - Speaker and Perfume

This picture will be like a perfume is spraying the music out.

Sketches 3 - Marker pen and Flower

The pen become the stem of the flower so it will looks like the marker pen is blooming.

Sketches 4 - Comb and Flower

Same as the Sketches 3 but change marker pen to comb so it will looks like the comb is blooming.

Mock up : 

Based on the feedback that given by Mr. Fauzi, I have choose sketches 1 to proceed to final.

I have take the photo of Avocado and Violin myself, after that I start to edit it by using Photoshop.

First, I crop the needed part of Avocado and Violin one by one.

After that, I combined two object together and adjust the color of object to make its looks more consistent.

Then, I add the background and the shadow of the object.

Final Outcome : 

Avocado Violin

I combine the avocado with violin together because they got some similarity on shape and I think mix the creamy feel of avocado and the classy vibes of violin is interesting, it can create a special look.
